We will be selling tickets till the drawing Sept. 26th.
Also we are still doing the Hot Dog sales at Quality Markets in Westfield, NY. from 10 to whenever the people stop coming. This we will be doing till people are sick of eating Hot Dogs from us. (haha)
Hoping this weekend it don't rain ( the last 2 wkends were UGH in the rain)
We are now also getting together door prizes and raffle prizes for the Benefit with all day bands at the Tap Room in Westfield for Sat. Oct. 25th. Wish us luck on that.

Who is Dana Brown?

Dana's family has chosen to open a trust fund with the Westfield Kiwanis Club in part because this organization provides both tax-deductibility and fiscal accountability to his contributors, as well as, allowing Dana’s trust to utilize 100% of the contributions. Many national organizations charge a % of the donations to manage the trust fund. This is an unfortunate situation when every dollar donated is so desperately needed by the families.
“All about Dana”
*Born January 6, 1966 in Erie, PA
*Attended Wattsburg Schools and graduated from Seneca High School in 1985
*Diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 18
*Worked at Better Baked Foods in the pasta department at the North East facility where he met Lynn from Westfield
*After marrying Lynn in 1988, they settled in Westfield and had two children, Sheila and Neale
*Coached youth soccer in Westfield and enjoys hunting and fishing
*Dana has been employed at the Westfield School since 1990
*His long battle with diabetes caused kidney disease which was first diagnosed in 1991
*Finally in March 2008 his kidneys could no longer function and he was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease and was placed on home dialysis
*Currently Dana is in the process of finding a kidney donor and being placed on the transplant list through the Cleveland Clinic
*In the near future Dana will need to be evaluated by another transplant hospital to increase his chance for a kidney thus creating more uncovered expenses.

If you are interested in making a monetary donations the information is below. Any help is greatly appreciated. These donations are to assist us with the unforeseen medical cost that the insurance does not cover.
